WWE gives longtime match type a new name; will take place at an upcoming show
An old match type has been given a new name during this week's episode of WWE RAW. Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed will be involved in the upcoming bout.
The two stars have been feuding for quite some time now. They have been trying to destroy each other on the red brand, and Adam Pearce had no choice but to announce a match between them with a stipulation.
Bronson Reed was set to face The Miz in a singles match on the latest episode of WWE RAW. However, before the big man could get into the ring, he was attacked by Braun Strowman. The two stars started fighting again, and security came out to stop them.
This wasn't their first time getting into a brawl during the show. When RAW went on the air, The Monster of All Monsters speared the Aussie star into a merch stand backstage while Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio entered the ring.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce announced that Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed will face each other next Monday in a "Last Monster Standing" Match. The match has been renamed the "Last Man Standing" for this particular bout, and WWE even aired a special video package to promote it.
