WWE gives Michael Cole a new nickname following RAW

WWE has given Michael Cole a hilarious new nickname following this week's episode of RAW. Cole currently calls the action alongside Pat McAfee every Monday night on the red brand.

Michael Cole thoroughly enjoyed Jey Uso's entrance this past Monday on WWE RAW and the promotion uploaded a video of it on Instagram. Cole was dancing around during Main Event Jey's theme song and high-fived the superstar several times next to the announce table. You can check out the hilarious video in the post below.

Pat McAfee has missed the past couple of episodes of WWE RAW due to a death in the family. Corey Graves filled in for the popular media star during this past Monday's show. Graves used to work alongside Michael Cole but is now the lead announcer on SmackDown with Wade Barrett as his broadcast partner.

Michael Cole believes Corey Graves will ultimately be his replacement in WWE as the promotion's lead announcer.

Cole began working with the promotion in 1997 and has been a staple for the company's broadcast team ever since. He has helped train other announcers behind the scenes and spent years working with Graves.

In a recent interview with Awful Announcing, the veteran announcer named Corey Graves as his replacement. He added that Graves has found his own voice and has a great opportunity ahead of him.

"Corey now has a Corey Graves Voice. A lot of the issues we had were that we tried to develop commentators to be Michael Cole," he admitted. "Now we have a chance to develop Corey Graves. I truly, honestly believe he’s going to be the one to replace me. He’s an incredible human being. He has a great opportunity."

Michael Cole has been humorously taking shots at Dominik Mysterio on RAW due to his storyline with Liv Morgan. The Women's World Champion has been trying to steal Dirty Dom from Rhea Ripley as the 27-year-old is out with an injury. Cole pointed out that Mysterio has been reposting Morgan on social media during this past Monday's episode of RAW.
