WWE Hall of Famer believes Cody Rhodes will lose major title match soon (Exclusive)
Cody Rhodes is arguably the most popular babyface in WWE at the moment, along with being the face of the company. However, Teddy Long thinks he will not be winning a major upcoming match with championship consequences.
Triple H recently unveiled the brand new Crown Jewel Championship belt during the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, giving fans something to look forward to. The new strap is supposed to be fought for between the top champions of RAW and SmackDown's male and female divisions.
As things stand Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, and World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther, will face each other at Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia on November 2, to crown the inaugural men's champion of the new title.
On Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine show hosted by Mac Davis, the WWE Hall of Famer, Teddy Long, was asked about his thoughts regarding the upcoming title match. He stated that Gunther would probably be the one to emerge victorious.
"I think it should be Gunther," said Long. [3:58 onwards]
Veteran journalist Bill Apter also chimed in, expressing a similar opinion.
"Me too," stated Apter. [4:01 onwards]

The veterans also spoke about a potential Goldberg interference at WWE Crown Jewel
With Goldberg recently making an appearance in WWE, fans and critics have not ruled out interference by the legend in the match between Cody Rhodes and Gunther.
While Da Man may make his way into the fray, Bill Apter thinks this would not actually lead to a disqualification win. Goldberg certainly has a bone to pick with The Ring General, considering their heated confrontation at Bad Blood recently.
Speaking on the same episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Bill Apter stated:
"There's not gonna be a disqualification. This is the first year they're doing this. There will be a decisive winner, even if somebody like Goldberg or Kevin Owens on the other side decides to interfere." [2:23 onwards]
For now, fans will have to stay tuned to see what the Hall of Famer has up his sleeve for the future.
