WWE Hall of Famer breaks silence following shocking return to the company after 15 years

WWE has brought back some big names to take to the ring in recent years. Meanwhile, a Hall of Famer returned to the company for the first time in 15 years for an appearance.

Jesse Ventura is one of the biggest names in sports entertainment who has achieved a lot outside the ring too. The Hall of Famer returned to the company on the latest edition of RAW, as confirmed by Triple H ahead of the show.

He was in attendance at the show, which was held at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Michael Cole welcomed Jesse Ventura back during commentary, and WWE’s social media team also did the same.

Following the show, the Hall of Famer broke his silence following his first appearance in nearly 15 years. The legend noted that The Body was back home. He also thanked Triple H and the WWE family for the warm welcome. He ended his message by tagging CM Punk and noting that hell froze over again.

"Yes, it's true. The Body is back home. Thank you @TripleH and the whole @WWE family. @CMPunk looks like hell froze over... again," Jesse Ventura wrote.

This was Ventura's first notable appearance in WWE since 2009. He was a prominent feature in the rivalry between Sheamus and John Cena in 2009 that ended with a big match at the TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs PLE that year.

Ventura approached the company for a Legends deal in May this year. He transitioned into politics after his wrestling career ended. The Triple H era after Vince McMahon's resignation could allow him to make more appearances in the company.

WWE RAW had some solid matches this week

The final episode of RAW before SummerSlam was a big one for fans. It hosted a dream match between Gunther and Finn Balor that had many fans excited.

The Prince put up a great fight against The Ring General. However, Gunther choked out his opponent to win the contest. It looks like Damian Priest will have a tall task at SummerSlam where he will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther.

Meanwhile, Sami Zayn finally got the better of Bron Breakker on RAW. It looks like Zayn could lose his title to the former NXT Champion at the upcoming PLE.

The Wyatt Sicks also made an impact by attacking Chad Gable and The Creed Brothers on RAW. The group made a statement just before SummerSlam.
