WWE Hall of Famer calls for Steve Austin, The Rock, or The Undertaker to disrupt the Presidential debate
WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) called for wrestling legends Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, or The Undertaker to disrupt the U.S. Presidential debate. He was seemingly not impressed with what he was watching on TV.
The debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump for the 2024 United States Presidential race happened last night, and many people took to social media to share their thoughts on it. Trump has made numerous appearances for the Stamford-based company. He was even inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
During the Presidential debate, JBL took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a screenshot of Donald Trump and Joe Biden and wrote that it was a good time for Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, or The Undertaker to show up and possibly attack both men.
"If ever the world needed glass breaking, or “do you smell…” or GONG. It’s right now," wrote JBL.
Ex-WWE writer Jon Rineman is glad that The Undertaker showed up at WrestleMania XL instead of Stone Cold Steve Austin
At WrestleMania XL Night 2, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns in the main event to win the Undisputed WWE Championship. The Rock was about to attack The American Nightmare during the bout, but The Undertaker showed up and stopped him. However, many fans were expecting Stone Cold instead.
In an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Kevin Kellam, Jon Rineman explained why he's happy that things went the way they went.
"I liked that Stone Cold kept his last match as his last appearance. I understand [that Austin's appearance wouldn't taint his last match], but what if you miss that Stunner and you have a GIF that goes viral? I thought that Undertaker thing was perfect. I thought, hey, hats off to The Rock for selling it," he said.
