WWE Hall of Famer comments on possible move to hurt AEW Dynamite (Exclusive)
Netflix recently released a docuseries chronicling the business career of former WWE CEO Vince McMahon. While the timing of the release may seem like it was intended to clash against Tony Khan's AEW Dynamite, a Hall of Famer does not think so.
Considering Dynamite airs on Wednesday nights and the Vince McMahon docuseries also premiered around that time, many have questioned whether it was a coincidence or a planned move. The timing does seem to be a pre-planned idea by the Triple H-led company, however, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long does not think so.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long was asked to share his thoughts on the matter. He stated:
"It's just a Vince McMahon, you know what I mean, documentary. It's not about wrestling talent or whatever. I mean all that is in the conversation, but I don't think the Vince McMahon documentary would have anything to do with AEW's audience. You know what I mean? People are gonna watch what they wanna watch." [From 00:56 to 01:14]

In another episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, the Hall of Famer expressed excitement at the prospect of seeing McMahon's life laid out structurally for fans. He stated:
"I can't wait to see this. I'm pretty sure it's well put together. I'm sure I'll see some stuff I've never seen before and probably learn something I never knew. I can't wait to see this. Vince, he's a character."
