WWE Hall of Famer comments on real life feud involving Bret Hart, says he should "let it go" (Exclusive)
WWE legend, Bret Hart has been a topic of discussion lately, due to his comments about Goldberg and Booker T. This has led to a Hall of Famer, Teddy Long, commenting on the matter.
Bret has always held a grudge against Goldberg, owing to how a particular match with the latter had allegedly led to him suffering a concussion that ultimately ended his career. However, he had recently commented on Booker T's scissor kick as well, claiming that it had been one of the most dangerous moves he had taken.
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine show hosted by Mac Davis, Teddy Long was asked about his thoughts on the legend's accusations. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that he loved Hart, but urged him to let it go. He also noted that Goldberg had admitted he had made a mistake and that dragging these matters wouldn't get anyone anywhere.
"I like Bret myself man. What a great guy, I mean I always go out of my way to go and talk to him whenever we are on these signings together. To me, I would just let it go, 'cause I mean it really ain't going anywhere. It's just old news, they keep dragging it out, and I mean I think earlier Goldberg did apologize. You know he said, 'Hey I was green. You know I didn't know.' So I don't know what else you can do," said the WWE Hall of Famer. [5:13 onwards]

The WWE Hall of Famer wants Bret Hart and Goldberg to have one final match
According to Teddy Long, the real-life issues between Goldberg and Bret Hart would act as an advantage if the two decide to face each other in the ring again.
Speaking on another episode of the Wrestling Time Machine, the Hall of Famer had talked about Bret as a possible opponent for Goldberg. He stated that he didn't know if the 67-year-old would ever want to get back in the ring but said it would be great if the two could have a match and also that Hart would make Goldberg look really good in the ring.
"The person that I'd like to put him with is the person that really helped him along the way, but I don't know whether Bret wants to get back in the ring," Long said. "For him and Bret Hart to have that final thing, I think that would be it because Bret is the guy. He could hang with Bret. Bret would make him look like a million dollars." [7:31 – 7:50]

While such a match seems unlikely, wilder things have happened in the pro wrestling business. It remains to be seen if the two WWE legends will ever cross paths again inside the squared circle.
