WWE Hall of Famer compares Logan Paul to legendary wrestling star
Logan Paul has had a meteoric rise in WWE. The Maverick has established himself as a major player on a roster that's filled with incredibly talented performers. His in-ring work has been praised by legends like The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio.
It seems Mark Henry has joined the list of superstars and veterans who've showered praise on Paul. The WWE Hall of Famer recently appeared on What Were They Thinking? on Backstage Pass, wherein he put over the former United States Champion by comparing him to late wrestling legend Owen Hart.
"He looks like a young Owen Hart. He can do anything in the ring [athletically]. If you pull up Logan Paul working with LeBron James; they were out at the Rams' facility in Los Angeles running rounds, he looked like a polished wide receiver. He's hyper-athletic," said Henry. [10:16 onwards]
Prior to Henry's statement, Hall of Famer JBL said nice things about Logan Paul and his younger brother Jake Paul. The former WWE Champion lauded the pair for bringing eyes to pro wrestling and boxing, respectively. The Wrestling God further said the Paul brothers might headline a WrestleMania given their ability to sell out arenas.
"For me, Jake wants to headline cards. I don't know if he'll end up at a WrestleMania. He might. I mean, these guys are promotional geniuses," said JBL. [08:48 onwards]
Logan hasn't appeared in a WWE ring since he dropped the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam 2024. Fans will have to wait to see when and where The Maverick pops up next.
