WWE Hall of Famer defends criticism around Jey Uso's booking on Monday Night RAW
Jey Uso is ready to acquire gold in WWE after The Biggest Party of the Summer in Ohio. Meanwhile, Hall of Famer Road Dogg defended criticism against Main Event Jey's booking on Monday Night RAW.
Earlier this year, Jey Uso was in a high-profile feud with Jimmy Uso, which ended at WrestleMania XL. In the storylines, Main Event Jey lost a handful of title matches and the losing trend continued on Monday Night RAW after The Showcase of Immortals in Philadelphia.
A fan pointed it out and criticized Uso's booking on WWE RAW under Triple H's regime. Later, WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg responded to the fans and defended the 38-year-old star's run on the red brand. The veteran doesn't see the losses as part of failure due to the star's current status amongst the fans.
"You just told me how over he is! I fail to see the failure in all that success but……. I’ll see my mid card self out!" Dogg wrote in a post on X.
Jey Uso and Sami Zayn could go after Tag Team Gold on WWE RAW
Last year, Jey Uso and Sami Zayn were a part of one of the biggest storylines in WWE, which eventually led to a tag team match between Zayn and Kevin Owens and The Usos at WrestleMania 39.
Both former Bloodline members have reconciled after the event. The Bloodline's former Right-Hand man and The Honorary Uce have even teamed up on different occasions in multi-man matches.
Last month, the duo took on the World Tag Team Champions and defeated them in a non-title match in the main event of RAW. However, they went their separate ways as Sami Zayn lost the Intercontinental Championship to Bron Breakker at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
On RAW after SummerSlam 2024, Jey Uso pitched the idea of reuniting as a formidable team and taking on The Judgment Day for the World Tag Team Championship in the coming weeks. It'll be interesting to see if Zayn agrees to go ahead and team up and attempt to capture the gold.
