WWE Hall of Famer exposes Vince McMahon in latest documentary; claims the boss lied to him

WWE Hall of Famer Bret "The Hitman" Hart recently spoke about his relationship with Vince McMahon. Hart is one of the talking heads on the new Mr. McMahon documentary on Netflix.

Bret was one of the torchbearers for WWE during the New Generation Era. The star carried the company at a time when Vince McMahon & Co. were embroiled in the steroid trials. He became one of the most recognized global superstars and held a major position at the top of the card.

In the first episode of the recently released Netflix documentary on Mr. McMahon, Bret spoke about his complex relationship with his former boss during the first few minutes. He claimed that he respected Vince McMahon a lot. However, the former WWE Champion claimed that the boss often lied to him and let him down with his lies and fabled stories.

"I love Vince and I have a lot of respect for him. But he was a guy that often lied to me and let me down with his lies," Bret said.

There was a period after the Montreal Screwjob and Owen Hart's death that Bret had severed ties with the WWE. However, the two parties later reconciled, and The Hitman has been inducted into the Hall of Fame twice.

Bret also recently appeared on RAW in the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
