WWE Hall of Famer hails Drew McIntyre and recently released star in latest message
WWE Hall of Famer JBL recently praised the 3MB trio of Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal, and Heath Slater.
The Three Man Band was formed in 2012 and existed till 2014, primarily serving as a midcard faction known for their comedic antics. However, in June 2014, McIntyre and Mahal were released, effectively bringing an end to the faction's run in WWE.
JBL recently reacted on a match highlight featuring 3MB, reflecting on legendary manager Gary Hart's advice to 'play the hand dealt to you.' He noted that while 3MB's comedic role may not have been what McIntyre and Mahal initially desired, they embraced it and made the group entertaining. JBL highlighted how both McIntyre and Mahal later went on to become WWE Champions after their return to the company.
"Gary Hart once told me 'If they ask you to be a clown, be a clown as only a professional would be one.' Meaning - play the hand dealt to you. 3MB was entertaining - two world champs came out of it, and Heath became a great character also. Not what these guys wanted, but it was a fun group - that did its job very well," JBL wrote.
