WWE Hall of Famer would like to be inducted again

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony takes place every year on the same week as WrestleMania. Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, recently expressed an interest in receiving another Hall of Fame induction.

In 2021, Kane was inducted into the Hall of Fame as a singles competitor. Last week, his storyline half-brother, The Undertaker, said he and Kane deserve another induction as the Brothers of Destruction tag team.

Kane appeared on the latest episode of The Undertaker's Six Feet Under w/Mark Calaway podcast. Asked if he agrees with his friend, The Big Red Machine made it clear he would like to be a two-time WWE Hall of Famer:

"Yes, I do," Kane said. "I do. I mean, I think that the niche that they carved out was as important as any other tag team. The Attitude Era, to me, was the best and most impactful time for WWE, and The Brothers of Destruction were a huge part of that, so, yeah, I would think so." [1:25:54 – 1:26:20]

The Brothers of Destruction began feuding in 1997 before becoming a tag team in 1998. They held the WCW and WWE tag titles in 2001 and reunited several times over the next two decades.

Kane reflects on his WWE Hall of Fame induction

Glenn Jacobs performed as Dr. Isaac Yankem and Fake Diesel before being repackaged as Kane. The imposing wrestler's previous gimmicks only lasted a few months and were widely viewed as disappointments.

Discussing his 2021 induction, Kane said the moment was among the greatest of his WWE career.

"It was awesome. Obviously, pinnacle of your career and something that not many people achieve that honor or have that honor bestowed upon them, so it was a huge deal," he said. [1:29:06 – 1:29:17]

In 2018, Jacobs' full-time in-ring career as Kane ended when he became the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. The 57-year-old has not wrestled since appearing in the 2021 Men's Royal Rumble Match.
