WWE Hall of Famer makes major prediction about Seth Rollins and CM Punk's future

The rivalry between Seth Rollins and CM Punk has been brewing ever since the latter returned at the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event last year. A WWE Hall of Famer recently talked about when the two men could get a chance to lock horns. That would be Bully Ray.

Punk’s return to WWE was hampered by an injury that he sustained at the 2024 Men's Royal Rumble Match. The injury helped the Stamford-based company build one of its most entertaining rivalries involving the Second City Saint and Drew McIntyre.

Seth Rollins played the role of Special Guest Referee in Punk vs. Drew at SummerSlam 2024. The Scottish Warrior won the contest, and it looks like The Visionary wants to get his hands on the Second City Saint next.

While speaking on a recent edition of the Busted Open Radio podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray gave the match at SummerSlam "two thumbs up." He predicted that the rivalry between CM Punk and Rollins would probably have to wait till WrestleMania 41.

"I thought it was excellent. Okay, if somebody would have bled, yeah, but I think there's legs to this. I think there's more to go on and I'm looking forward to it. Eventually, we're going to get to Seth and Punk, which will most likely be a WrestleMania match," Bully Ray said. [H/T WrestlingINC]

Many fans are waiting for the big match between Seth Rollins and CM Punk. However, it looks like that rivalry will have to wait as The Visionary was potentially injured, while Punk is looking to get his hands on Drew McIntyre again.

Seth Rollins was likely injured after his segment with CM Punk on WWE RAW

During the latest episode of WWE RAW, things took an ugly turn for Seth Rollins after he had his segment with CM Punk. Bronson Reed came out of nowhere to attack Rollins and left him helpless after hitting a bunch of Tsunamis.

Reed did not stop there, as he wanted to prove what he was capable of by taking out one of WWE’s top guys. He hit Seth with six Tsunamis, possibly injuring The Visionary in the process.

WWE seems to be taking out Seth from the rivalry between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. The new angle will help Rollins stay busy in a feud with the Australian star till Punk is free to begin a new rivalry.

Fans could then get to see the build-up to the match between Seth and Punk which could likely reach its boiling point at WrestleMania 41.
