And I'm not gonna lie to you; when he started out, you know, they were pushing him a little too fast, a little too hard, and he just wasn't ready. But he took to it, and he just kept working and grinding, and eventually, he became a master at it. And I just have all the respect in the world for him," he said. [22:25-22:50]
Will Kurt Angle return to WWE?
After he retired from in-ring competition in 2019, Kurt Angle transitioned into a backstage producer. However, he was released from the Stamford-based company the following year due to budget cuts.
During the same podcast, the Olympic Gold Medalist addressed the possibility of returning as a manager. The WWE Hall of Famer claimed he would be open to doing so under two conditions:
"Would I consider managing? Yeah, it would have to be the right thing. It would have to be the right deal and the right program. Not only that, but the money has to be right.'' [20:18-20:25]
It will be interesting to see if the veteran returns to the company in the future.
