WWE Hall of Famer says he wants Cody Rhodes to get "destroyed" by The Bloodline

Wrestling legend Bully Ray has opened up about what he wants to see on SmackDown during the Steel Cage match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa. The Undisputed WWE Championship will be on the line.

The leader of the new Bloodline faction challenged The American Nightmare for the coveted title at SummerSlam, but he failed to win the match as he was attacked by a returning Roman Reigns. Before Bash in Berlin, Solo stated that he would face the winner of Kevin Owens vs. Cody for the title. Rhodes emerged victorious, which means Sikoa will get another opportunity at the gold on the blue brand.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray said he wants to see Cody Rhodes get destroyed by The Bloodline inside the Steel Cage.

"I just want to see Cody get destroyed in a cage ... Jacob Fatu, top of the steel cage, ala Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka. Cody Rhodes laying there, ala Bob Backlund," Bully said. (H/T Wrestling Inc.)

Bully Ray explains why Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Title reign has been "underwhelming"

The American Nightmare won the prestigious championship at WrestleMania XL, and his most recent defense was at Bash in Berlin. Another big name that he feuded with was AJ Styles.

Bully Ray explained that Cody Rhodes hasn't had a heel as big as The Rock to feud with, so his title run might be considered underwhelming.

"He [Cody] hasn't had a heel like The Rock. Now I know we're asking a lot. It's difficult to come out of an angle that main-evented WrestleMania with a guy portraying the heel like The Rock was and then find somebody who could be at the same level as The Rock. So you're dealing with challengers who are heels, but nobody who's posing the threat that The Rock did. So, underwhelming, because I don't think we've had the right mega heel," he said.

Roman Reigns has been advertised for this week's SmackDown. He might interfere in the Steel Cage match.
