WWE Hall of Famer teases first match in 4 years following SummerSlam
A WWE Hall of Famer teased a potential return to the ring following this year's SummerSlam. The star in question has not wrestled a match since 2020.
The Undertaker sat down with former United States Champion Logan Paul on his Impaulsive podcast and seemingly hinted that he wanted one more match. The Deadman has not competed since his victory over AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match at WWE WrestleMania 36.
During the interview, the legend was asked if he needed one more match to call it a career, and he admitted that was what he was looking for.
"That is what I was looking for. Yeah, just to put the exclamation point on the career. I wanted to have that one match that I could hang my hat on and say goodbye. I will come to the shows and I will say hello, and I'll talk to some of the guys. Maybe watch a couple of the matches, but then I've got to leave. It is still in my body, my mindset is like, 'Dude, you should be getting ready right now.' That part in your head that has gotten you this far says you still got one in you somewhere," he said. The Undertaker reveals dream opponent he never got to face in WWE
WWE legend The Undertaker recently disclosed that Andre the Giant was his dream opponent, but he never got to face him.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter, The Phenom named Andre the Giant as his dream opponent. However, he noted that when he arrived in WWE, Andre's health was already dwindling, and it was too late for them to have a rivalry.
"The match that I wish I had that I never got the opportunity was to work with Andre," The Undertaker said. "That was always a dream. No, never [faced Andre the Giant]. Andre's health was really, when I got here, his health was already in decline, and his back and his knees and everything." [6:09 – 6:32]
