WWE Hall of Famer on whether Rhea Ripley is the "biggest upside" female star in wrestling

Rhea Ripley's career in WWE has skyrocketed ever since she joined The Judgment Day. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Biscoff answered whether he believes Mami has the most promising future as a female wrestling star.

At WrestleMania 39, The Nightmare defeated Charlotte Flair to capture the SmackDown Women's Championship (now Women's World Championship). She proved herself as a dominant champion by successfully defending the title for one year against the likes of Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, Natalya, and others.

On RAW after WrestleMania XL, Liv Morgan's brutal attack caused Ripley to injure her shoulder. This injury forced The Judgment Day member to relinquish the Women's World Championship. After being on the sidelines for quite some time, The Eradicator returned to WWE TV on the July 8 installment of the flagship show.

Speaking on the 83 Weeks podcast, the co-host Conrad Thompson asked Eric Bischoff whether Rhea Ripley represents the biggest upside among female stars in wrestling today. The Hall of Famer said:

"In my opinion, she [Rhea Ripley] is."

The former RAW General Manager reminisced about setting up a phone call for a fan to chat with Mami a year ago. Bischoff described the former WWE Women's World Champion as sweet, kind, and down-to-earth during the conversation.

"If I'm even close to being right, she's going to be a woman star in a magnitude that we have not seen yet. It (can) take five years, it take three, well could happen next week. I don't know, but it'll happen for her. She's amazingly talented, she's got a great look and I truly believe at her core, she's a really really sweet person," said Bischoff. (1:16:05 - 1:16:34)

Rhea Ripley confirms she has fellow WWE Superstar's number

The Nightmare returned to Monday Night RAW and caught Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio red-handed in a close moment. Since Dirty Dom's actions likely caused a rift with Ripley, Jey Uso saw an opportunity during a backstage segment.

He approached Damian Priest and, with a mischievous grin, inquired if Mami was single and "ready to mingle." After the former WWE Tag Team Champion defeated Dominik on the July 15 edition of the red brand show, Uso invited Rhea Ripley to Waffle House.

In a backstage video, Jackie Redmond asked The Nightmare if she had The YEET Master's phone number. She responded yes with Jey Uso's "Yeet" chant.

At SummerSlam 2024, Ripley will go head-to-head with Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship. It remains to be seen if The Judgment Day member captures the title that she never lost.
