WWE keeping Drew McIntyre off TV won't hurt him, claims former wrestling manager
Former wrestling manager Jim Cornette recently spoke about Drew McIntyre not being featured on WWE TV. The 39-year-old star recently competed in a brutal Hell in a Cell match against CM Punk at Bad Blood 2024.
The two stars fought in a grueling encounter inside the unforgiving structure. Both men were banged up after the match. While Punk showed up on the latest episode of RAW to deliver a promo, McIntyre has not been seen on TV since the match.
During a recent episode of his Jim Cornette's Drive-Thru podcast, the 63-year-old veteran claimed that Drew taking a few weeks off would not hurt WWE. He pointed out that The Scottish Warrior was the heel in this feud and he could take time off to recover. Cornette felt that McIntyre could start a new feud once he is back and it would not hurt his momentum.
"He's (Drew McIntyre) the heel, see. If he's out of sight for a little while licking his wounds because he lost but he comes back and does something, he'll be off in another direction," Jim Cornette said. [4:26 - 4:38]

WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre may be returning to RAW soon
WWE may have already spoiled the date for Drew McIntyre's return. The Scottish Warrior is advertised for the October 21, 2024, edition of Monday Night RAW. The show will emanate from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Other stars advertised for the show include World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, Women's World Champion Liv Morgan, Intercontinental Champion Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, and Rhea Ripley. Although WWE cards are always subject to change, it may be safe to assume that we could see The Scottish Warrior return very soon on the red brand.
With the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event coming up in a few weeks, it will be interesting to see if Drew McIntyre will be making the trip to Saudi Arabia this time.
