WWE legend addresses Jacob Fatu comparisons (Exclusive)
Jacob Fatu has made a huge impact since joining WWE as part of Solo Sikoa's new-look Bloodline faction in June. Scott Steiner, a WWE Hall of Famer and the uncle of RAW star Bron Breakker, recently gave his thoughts on Fatu's first few televised appearances.
Roman Reigns has not been seen on WWE television since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania XL on April 7. Sikoa replaced Reigns as The Bloodline's Tribal Chief shortly after the event. He also created a new version of the group alongside Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Steiner addressed comparisons that people are making between his and Fatu's in-ring intensity:
"It definitely translates coming through the TV. That always helps when people can see your intensity and stuff. Yeah, I mean, he's doing good. He hasn't had a [singles] match yet, right? It'll be interesting to see what happens, but from what everybody is saying he's one of the better guys, so that's yet to be seen, but all those people can't be wrong but I've never seen him wrestle, so we'll see what happens." Jacob Fatu's WWE debut match
In recent weeks, Jacob Fatu has joined forces with his Bloodline stablemates to feud with Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton on SmackDown.
The 32-year-old teamed up with Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga to defeat Orton, Owens, and Rhodes at Money in the Bank on July 6. He also sent a message to the tag team division with a ferocious attack on Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa on July 12.
Before joining WWE, Fatu made his name in MLW as the promotion's World Heavyweight Champion. He held the title for a record 819 days.
