WWE legend Bubba Ray Dudley wants to put popular celebrity through a table
The WWE Universe has many famous members, from movie stars to athletes to social influencers, and so on. One of the most popular celebrity wrestling fans has revealed their secret goal of getting put through a table, and Bubba Ray Dudley has volunteered.
Danielle Fishel is better known as Topanga from Boy Meets World. The coming-of-age sitcom aired from September 1993 until May 2000 and famously featured Vader on three episodes in 1995 and 1996. The Mastodon portrayed a wrestler named Francis Albert Leslie "Frankie" Stecchino Sr., the father of Frankie, and in one episode he wrestled another Hall of Famer - Jake Roberts. Fishel is a noted pro wrestling fan. She keeps up with WWE, AEW, and PWG, among others, and has ties to several wrestling stars.
Bruce Prichard also appeared on Boy Meets World, as Brother Love, and he produced the in-ring action on the show. The Executive Director of WWE Creative was the recent guest on Fishel's Pod Meets World podcast, and during the episode, the 43-year-old mother of 3 expressed her desire to take an in-ring table bump:
"Everyone would assume I’m gonna be a babyface, so you gotta send me in as a heel. I do have a real... it’s kind of a secret goal, but at some point in my life, I want to be put through a table. I mean in a wrestling ring," Danielle Fishel said. [H/T Fightful]
Bubba Ray took to X to respond to Topanga's secret goal. The Hall of Famer also known as Bully Ray, who is known for using tables with his longtime partner D-Von Dudley, seemingly volunteered The Dudley Boyz to help Fishel achieve her goal by replying with his signature line.
"'DEVON...,'" Bubba Ray Dudley wrote.
Fishel and D-Von have not responded to Bubba Ray as of this writing.
The Dudley Boyz appear for WWE after signing Legends contracts
The Dudley Boyz are one of the most decorated tag teams in pro wrestling history, with successful runs in WWE, ECW, TNA, and ROH, among other promotions.
Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley ended their last full-time run with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2016. They were then inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018, and have made various appearances for the company and others ever since. The Dudleyz signed new WWE Legends contracts in September 2023.
Bubba Ray then appeared at WrestleMania XL this year as the special referee for The Pride's win over The Final Testament, which included a big spot with the ECW Original. Bubba Ray and D-Von then appeared at the 2024 Draft last month to announce the round 3 picks on Night One.
The Dudleyz had their last WWE match on August 21, 2016. They were defeated by Sami Zayn and Neville on the SummerSlam pre-show that night.
