WWE legend details which decision "actually helps solidify" Roman Reigns' Bloodline story
Roman Reigns is looking to get the original Bloodline back together to face Solo Sikoa's Bloodline ahead of the Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 Premium Live Event. A wrestling legend recently opened up about a major WWE decision that may boost the ongoing storyline. That would be Tommy Dreamer.
Jey Uso competed in an Intercontinental Championship match against Bron Breakker on Monday Night RAW. The two men had a good contest before Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu decided to show up in the audience. The distraction cost The Yeet Master the match, and Breakker won the Intercontinental Championship for the second time in his career. Wrestling veteran Tommy Dreamer believes that Jey's loss will help WWE build a greater storyline.
While speaking on the Busted Open After Dark podcast, Dreamer noted that Jey Uso will get back in the storyline with his family after losing the title. He has always been an important part of The Bloodline, and it will help him rise to the top again.
"When I say bigger storylines, obviously because he's (Jey Uso) lost the Intercontinental Championship which won't be a distraction to him, he's now going to have to deal with his family again, and that storyline carried the WWE for quite some time. It was perhaps one of the greatest storylines of all time next to, I guess, Cody and Roman, but they were all interwoven together and it looks like they're going back into it," Tommy Dreamer said. The 53-year-old veteran also talked about the possibility of Paul Heyman returning to the scene to join Roman Reigns and his men. The Wiseman has been off WWE programming since being taken out by Solo Sikoa and his stablemates in June 2024.
"It'll be interesting, but Jey losing that title actually helps solidify the focus of this story and the story now is family, and a family split is one thing, but a family reunited is another," Tommy Dreamer said. [H/T WrestlingINC]
Bron Breakker will likely have a good run with the Intercontinental Championship this time around after his first reign ended quickly. He could get into some new feuds right away as The Yeet Master will likely get busy by supporting Reigns in his war against The Bloodline.
Roman Reigns could get the control of The Bloodline back before WWE WrestleMania 41
Every single WrestleMania post-2020 has revolved around Roman Reigns at the top of WWE. WrestleMania 41 will be no exception, as The Original Tribal Chief remains the top name in the company despite not having a title around his waist.
To ensure that he gets a big match for the event, Roman will look to get the original Bloodline back on track to stay on top of his competition. He will likely assemble his team for Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 and the group could continue as a babyface faction following the PLE.
It would be great to see Reigns walk into WrestleMania 41 for a big match with The Usos and some other top names with him. It will allow him to prove he is still the best in the business.
