WWE legend Hulk Hogan is a victim of prejudice, says veteran after recent racism accusations (Exclusive)
While Hulk Hogan has recently been accused of racism, a veteran believes the WWE legend is more of a victim of the situation. The veteran in question, Bill Apter, explained his perspective about why certain prejudices against Hogan are to blame for his tarnished image.
The Hulkster recently came under fire after he allegedly terminated the contract of Essence Jenai, a social media influencer who was hired to promote his Real American Beer brand. The influencer later on accused him of racism, claiming that she was replaced due to the color of her skin. However, a spokesperson from the brand has stated that the WWE legend was not involved in the decision at all.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, legendary journalist Bill Apter stated that previous accusations against Hogan had already painted him in a bad light.
"This racial thing has followed Hogan all over the place for many years. He apologized for whatever he said in the past, and to say that he is a racist at this point when we don't know all the facts, I think because he had that 'racist' title kind of put on him and followed him through the years, whenever something like this happens, 'Oh my god he is a racist. Look what happened before, he is doing it again.'" [5:35 onwards]

Another WWE veteran has also commented on the Hulk Hogan accusations
According to former WWE writer Vince Russo, it was an inadvisable move to fire Essence Jenai.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's Legion of RAW, the veteran stated that considering Hulk Hogan's past controversies, it would have been better to hire a few employees purposely.
"It’s funny bro because, with all the heat that he got with the comments when his daughter was dating that black dude, with all that heat he got, you think he purposely would have a black [indefinite but maybe employee]. You know what I’m saying? That just sounds very very very stupid."
As of now, only time will tell how Hulk Hogan plans to resolve the matter.
