WWE legend looking forward to must-see Logan Paul match

United States Champion Logan Paul returned to WWE a week ago after successfully defending his title against Randy Orton and Kevin Owens at WrestleMania XL. He is now booked for the King and Queen of the Ring event, albeit not to defend his title. Instead, Paul will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Champion.

The Maverick has been receiving a ton of praise from contemporaries of the wrestling industry for his effort to excel between the ropes and for his ability to bring more eyes to the product from the outside. Now, old-school WWE legend Lex Luger has joined the bandwagon.

Speaking on his podcast Lex Expressed, Luger put over Logan Paul, calling the latter a natural in the ring. He also added that the upcoming match against The American Nightmare will be worth watching:

"He's [Logan Paul] a natural. I mean, his camera presence, his persona, his timing. I saw his interview with Cody in the ring and his timing; he's so comfortable on the camera. His work in the ring, obviously, is way beyond the time he's spent at it, athletically. Even his timing in the ring, it's pretty incredible. That's gonna be a really good match. Really, I think it's gonna be really, really good." [H/T: Fightful]

Logan Paul also revealed immediately post-WrestleMania XL that he is expecting a baby with his fiancée, Nina Agdal. It was later disclosed that a baby girl is on the way.

Logan Paul vs. LA Knight was teased on WWE SmackDown

It may have been a subtle backstage segment, but fans are already buzzing around the prospect of a future United States Championship angle between Logan Paul and LA Knight.

The Megastar had just got out of General Manager Nick Aldis' office, only to stand face-to-face with Logan Paul, who was waiting to meet up with Aldis regarding his upcoming title match.

Later that night, The Maverick designed a ploy to push Cody Rhodes to sign a contract that made their encounter inside the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia solely for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

As for Knight, he was outnumbered by The Bloodline in the King of the Ring quarterfinal, allowing Tama Tonga to advance.
