WWE legend "made everybody else on the card look bad," says Harvey Wippleman (Exclusive)
WWE has had a slew of legendary characters in its history. However, one of those apparently performed a little too well, according to Harvey Wippleman.
The character in question was that of Curt Hennig, aka Mr. Perfect. Harvey certainly thinks he lived up to his name, judging by his comments. Curt's talent is also evident by the fact that he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007, owing to his contributions to the wrestling business.
In an interview with Sportskeeda's Dr. Chris Featherstone, Harvey Wippleman was asked to share his thoughts on Curt Hennig. The veteran stated that Curt was extremely athletic and talented. According to him, this led to the rest of the roster looking bland in comparison at times, prompting him to believe that Curt should have held back in a manner:
"What can I say about Curt. He was so athletic and so tremendous, maybe too much so. Maybe he should have held back some, 'cause he made everybody else on the card look bad. You know what I mean? To his credit, he was good, but maybe he should have held back a little bit." [3:56 onwards]

The WWE veteran also commented on Bret Hart
While Bret Hart may be a polarizing figure for many, Harvey Wippleman is apparently a great friend of his.
Speaking in the same interview for Sportskeeda, Harvey was asked to comment on his perception of Bret Hart. The WWE veteran did not hesitate at all and said:
"Oh, I love Bret. We talk about once a month. Very good friend of mine, very close. One of my favorite guys in the business, I love Bret," he said. [3:44 onwards]
Bret Hart has not wrestled since 2011, and has been retired. It remains to be seen if he will ever make an appearance in WWE someday in the future.
