WWE legend reacts to Jey Uso's sensational Intercontinental Title victory
Jey Uso made history on last night's RAW by capturing the WWE Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career. Wrestling legend Mark Henry shared a heartwarming message for the real-life Bloodline member following his big win.
The YEET Master's victory over Bron Breakker in the main event of the September 23, 2024, Monday Night RAW episode ended the latter's brief 51-day reign as champion. Breakker had only defended his title once on television, defeating Sami Zayn, who he initially won the championship from at SummerSlam.
Taking to X (fka Twitter), The World's Strongest Man shared his reaction to Jey Uso winning the Intercontinental Championship. Mark Henry claimed that he was proud of the real-life Bloodline member securing his first singles title in his 14-year WWE career.
"I’m so proud."

Ex-WWE employee says Jey Uso could face major star after winning the Intercontinental Championship
Tommy Carlucci, who spent over three decades in the Sports Entertainment giant, shared his two cents on who could be The YEET Master's upcoming opponent.
Speaking on the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, Tommy Carlucci suggested that Jey Uso's win could potentially lead to a high-profile match against Cody Rhodes.
The former WWE employee expressed his excitement about the possibility of seeing The American Nightmare and the Samoan star face off in the ring.
"To Jey alone, it means a ton. It means that this guy is on his way to be, maybe someday very soon, to be up there going against Cody, who knows, right? I would love to see that. I would love to see Cody and Jey go at it, man," Carlucci said.
At the upcoming Bad Blood PLE, Cody Rhodes will team up with Uso's cousin, Roman Reigns to face Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline in a tag team match on October 5, 2024. Since The American Nightmare and The YEET Master are on two separate brands, SmackDown and RAW respectively, it remains to be seen how WWE plans a potential feud between the two stars.
