WWE legend reacts to not being a part of the Hall of Fame; says what it would mean
A WWE legend has spoken about not being a part of the WWE Hall of Fame. The veteran also talked about what an induction would mean.
Layla appeared on the They Made Their Way to the Ring podcast and spoke about the Hall of Fame.
She talked about how LayCool was not a part of the Hall of Fame. She said that she was okay with it and didn't want to offend anyone, adding that even if she didn't get inducted, she would be okay, as there were quite a few wrestlers who have not been inducted yet.
"Of course, it would be a stamp of approval for my career or that my career was significant in WWE. I’m okay, and I’m trying to say this in a politically correct way because I don’t want to offend anybody. I’m okay if I don’t get inducted into the Hall of Fame. I feel there are many wrestlers that should be that haven’t been. If that isn’t for me, I totally understand that. I’m okay walking away and saying I have a great WWE career, I was able to see everything I saw, and have the life experiences that I had. I’m okay with it." (h/t Fightful)
While she was okay with it, Layla did say that if she was inducted into the Hall of Fame as part of LayCool, it would mean a lot to her. She wants to be inducted with Michelle McCool. However, she added that if it didn't end up happening, she was still okay with it.
"Of course, I would love it. I would love to be inducted with Michelle. I feel that was the most significant and highest point of my WWE career. I would love for LayCool to be inducted. If it doesn’t happen, I’m okay with that."
LayCool are legendary for their domination in WWE
Back in the late 2000s, Michelle McCool and Layla's team was one of the most dominant forces in the women's division.
Layla herself has picked up several big wins, although McCool often played the bigger part in that team. Layla though, is the final Women's Champion before that title was united with the Divas Title.
Layla was also a Divas Champion, and her run with LayCool is legendary for being known as one of the stars known for her wrestling prowess at the time.
