WWE legend ready for major return 3925 days after last match: "Comeback? Yeah, biggest since the resurrection"
A WWE legend is ready to step back into the ring and has hinted at a huge return more than 3925 days since his last match. The Hall of Famer has been away from in-ring action for quite some time.
While the legend has not returned to the ring yet, JBL has been appearing severalent promotions and hitting people with a Clothesline From Hell. He helped Nic Nemeth in TNA and has also appeared in GCW, AAA, and MLW, to name but a few.
The Hall of Famer appears to be hinting at big things. Today, he said that he is pain-free and able to work out thanks to stem cell treatment. He added that he was ready for his comeback now and that it would be the biggest comeback since the resurrection.
"First time in a couple of decades, pain free and able to work out. Got stem cells from Integrated Pain Management in New Jersey-and my first workout, hard to believe I’m able to do things I couldn’t do for years. Comeback? Yeah, biggest since the resurrection," JBL wrote.
JBL has not wrestled a WWE match in more than 10 years
While JBL is hinting at an in-ring comeback, the star has not been in a WWE match for a long time. The last time he wrestled altogether was in a surprise appearance 10 years ago at the Royal Rumble match on January 26, 2014.
However, his last singles match dates even further back. He lost his Intercontinental Championship to Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 25. After the match, he "quit" and ended his wrestling career.
Over the next few years, he mainly focused on his career as a commentator in the company instead. Now, it appears that he may be about to return.
