WWE legend says Charlotte Flair is now an afterthought: "Who really misses her?" (Exclusive)

The Queen of WWE has been out of action since December 2023, and former manager Dutch Mantell believes there aren't many missing Charlotte Flair at the moment.

While she is undoubtedly one of the greatest female wrestlers ever, many felt Charlotte Flair had been overexposed on TV, especially regarding the women's Title picture.

Flair is the most prolific star in the women's division and was on course for a significant role heading into WrestleMania XL season before an untimely injury spoiled her plans. Charlotte injured her knee during a SmackDown episode months ago and has since been working towards a complete recovery.

While speaking on Smack Talk, Dutch Mantell stated that Charlotte wasn't a missed superstar any longer due to the ever-changing dynamics of the women's roster.

Flair's resume might be second to none, but in the current scheme of things, Dutch Mantell believed she wasn't needed in the WWE.

"Here's another question: who really misses her? Charlotte Flair is now an afterthought, at most. Now, when she comes back, she would mean something," he said. [From 1:12:00 onwards]

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and when she does eventually return, Charlotte will surely get a massive pop. Given her lengthy hiatus, Flair should ideally also be a fresh entity on WWE TV, and it would be interesting to see how the next chapter in her glittering career pans out.
