WWE legend says what John Cena was really like backstage in WWE (Exclusive)
John Cena is one of the top names to have ever entered a wrestling ring. Now, the star is about to retire, but a legend has spoken about what Cena was really like backstage in WWE.
John Cena had a long run in the company where he became the face of WWE as well as a household name. The star is very well known for being undefeatable in his prime and helped carry the company for a decade. Now that he is winding up and is set to retire next year, there has been a resurgence in interest in the star's career. Now, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has spoken about him.
Speaking during an appearance on What Were They Thinking? on Backstage Pass, the former WWE RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff shared what John Cena was really like backstage in the company.
"Such a class act, was then, still is. I just enjoyed being around him, working with him. He was always positive. I never saw anything that remotely looked like an attitude. He was just always really positive and eager. And I liked being around that kind of energy." (14:59 - 15:20)
The WWE Universe will certainly miss John Cena once he wraps up his career at the end of his retirement tour next year.
