WWE legend set to be present in Saudi Arabia ahead of Crown Jewel
WWE Crown Jewel emanates from the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2. WWE has also booked a stacked match card for the PLE, with some of the biggest storylines coming to a head on the show.
Fans expect a number of surprises for Crown Jewel. The PLE is considered one of the biggest events of the year, and the Stamford-based company has always added some extra spice when it comes to hosting the Saudi Arabia shows. The PLE would feature the inaugural Crown Jewel Championship matches for both the men and women apart from some other marquee matches that have been confirmed.
Among other stars who are scheduled to appear on the show, former World Tag Team Champion R-Truth will also be present. The veteran, in a recent X/Twitter video, released a video of him in a car, on his way to Saudi Arabia. Not only that, but the 52-year-old also added a caption that he was on his way to the country ahead of Crown Jewel.
"#SaudiArabia bound," wrote Truth.
What role will R-Truth play at WWE Crown Jewel?
While R-Truth is not scheduled for any matches at the PLE, his presence in the country ahead of Crown Jewel would undoubtedly have a reason. None of the matches from the card seem to have R-Truth's involvement, which makes it clear that Triple H might have some plans for the veteran.
A backstage segment featuring Truth entertaining fans with his innocent comedy would most likely be the reason he is visiting Saudi Arabia. Not only that, but Truth inviting a special guest to surprise fans is also a massive possibility.
The star could also be there as an official WWE representative or a brand ambassador for the promotion. An angle involving The Miz and Wyatt Sicks could also be in the plans.
With a plethora of opportunities available for the Stamford-based company, time will tell what R-Truth has in store for Crown Jewel.
