WWE legend shares picture with Paul Heyman days after Solo Sikoa's vicious assault
Perhaps building towards something massive, WWE decided to write off Paul Heyman for the time being. He was booted out of The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa as The Wiseman refused to acknowledge anybody but Roman Reigns as his Tribal Chief.
WWE Hall of Famer Sika Anoa'i passed away on June 25, 2024, and his funeral took place on July 6. Close family members of the Anoa'i family were present at the memorial service including Paul Heyman.
WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi has now shared a snap on Instagram in which he is seen posing with Paul Heyman. The legend called themselves the Wisemen. Having a long history with the Anoa'i family, Heyman being present at the memorial was a given.
"WiseMEN 🩸☝🏾 TALOFA #LateNightsEarlyFlights," Rikishi wrote.
Jey Uso, though, unfortunately, could not attend Sika's memorial as Money in the Bank took place the same day. He was in Toronto for the event, competing in the titular contest. This was noted by commentator Michael Cole during Jey's entrance.
Fellow Anoa'i family member Lance Anoa'i penned a heartfelt note as well on social media earlier today, after having attended the funeral and later won the BCW Title from former WWE Superstar Brian Kendrick at BCW's United We Stand event.
Solo Sikoa taunts Roman Reigns; when will the former Undisputed WWE Champion return?
Solo Sikoa has pinned Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank. The American Nightmare is likely going to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship belt against Sikoa at the next premium live event—SummerSlam, on August 3.
Roman Reigns is nowhere to be found, and The Street Champion has taken the opportunity to take over The Bloodline by recruiting Tongans and Jacob Fatu. He even challenged Reigns to go after him if the 39-year-old wants to reclaim his spot.
When asked about The Tribal Chief's whereabouts on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H shared his honest thoughts about Sikoa calling himself The Tribal Chief. The Game hinted that Reigns could be back before or at SummerSlam.
"You see that shift of, 'We're running the show now. This is the new Tribal Chief. This is the new Head of the Table. This is where this is headed.' That's only going to last for so long before there is a return [of Roman Reigns]. I can only imagine. [...] You can really feel both shows ramping up as we come into summertime and we head into SummerSlam where all those stories will blow up."
It remains to be seen when The Wiseman will rejoin the program. A possible return alongside Roman Reigns will likely pop the crowd as they have both grown into babyfaces organically in recent weeks.
