WWE legend Trish Stratus finally breaks silence on potential high-profile match with 25-year-old star

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has left an enduring legacy in the world of wrestling as a torchbearer for the women's division. Now, ahead of the SummerSlam Premium Live Event in Cleveland, the Canadian veteran opened up about the possibility of facing a 25-year-old rising female star.

The name in question is Tiffany Stratton. Stratus and The Buff Barbie had a major backstage confrontation immediately after the latter became the 2024 Ms. Money in the Bank in Toronto, Canada. During the MITB post-show conference, The Center of the Universe seemingly issued a challenge to face former seven-time WWE Women's Champion somewhere down the line.

Speaking on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez, Trish Stratus broke her silence and teased a possible return to the ring to confront the 25-year-old star. The Hall of Famer declared she would gladly put Tiffany Stratton in her place if the latter continued to talk trash.

"There are a few boxes being checked, you know? And again, like I said, if I can go back 100%, I will and I'll consider it. But I don't know, if she [Tiffany Stratton] keeps running her mouth, maybe you've got to put some people in their place. What can I say?" [From 20:47 to 20:57]

Trish Stratus reveals she was concussed during a match with former WWE Women's Champion

Last year, the Canadian legend was involved in a heated rivalry with Becky Lynch. The two women settled the score inside a Steel Cage Match at the 2023 WWE Payback PLE.

During the same interview with Adrian Hernandez, Trish Stratus disclosed that she has no recollection of the post-match events due to a concussion suffered during her hellacious battle with The Man.

"I was concussed. I don't think anybody knows that, but I was concussed after that cage match. I didn't remember anything, anyway. Later on, I watched it back. If you know me, I'm sassy, for sure, but I was like, 'Oh, did I do that?' I'm very camera-aware and PC. I was 100% in character. That was a real character moment," she said.

It remains to be seen when fans will witness a dream match between the WWE Hall of Famer and The Buff Barbie in the future.
