WWE makes a big announcement about Jey Uso amid rumors of him dropping Intercontinental Championship

Jey Uso has been the talk of the wrestling town since winning the Intercontinental Championship this past Monday on RAW. Meanwhile, WWE has officially revealed his status en route to the Bad Blood Premium Live Event.

On the recent episode of RAW, The YEET Master did the unthinkable when he knocked Bron Breakker off his perch to capture his first singles title. The show ended with Jey Uso celebrating his title win surrounded by fans in the arena.

Last night, WWE aired a commercial during SmackDown, advertising the former Bloodline member for the September 30 edition of Monday Night RAW. There's no word on what the 39-year-old star will do on the show. But a championship celebration of sorts cannot be ruled out.

With Bad Blood right around the corner, it will be interesting to see if Main Event Jey meets his first challenger for the Intercontinental Championship on the red brand next week.

Meanwhile, recent rumors have suggested that Jey Uso's title run will be short.

Is Bron Breakker done with Jey Uso?

In an exclusive chat with 99.5 WKDQ, Bron Breakker said he's unsure about his future after losing the Intercontinental Title to Jey Uso on the recent edition of Monday Night RAW.

However, the second-generation star asserted that he had the right to a rematch for the IC Title in the future.

"You know, I don't know. I don't know. I don't back down from anybody. But certainly, right now, the future is a little bit unknown. I'm not really sure. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. It was my championship. I have a right to a rematch. That's how it typically goes. We'll see. I don't know. If it's not my place; I need to go elsewhere, and something else comes up, I'll answer the call," Breakker said.

Breakker's title reign ended after 51 days. The 26-year-old RAW Superstar will certainly have to earn a title shot against Main Event Jey since the automatic rematch clause no longer exists. It will be interesting to see what the Triple H-led creative team has in store for The Dog of WWE in the coming weeks.
