WWE makes a major announcement on Roman Reigns and 11-time champion days after he got pinned
It has not been a good few days for Roman Reigns. He had to swallow his pride and accept Jey Uso's terms to reunite the original Bloodline before the two of them and Jimmy Uso fell to Solo Sikoa's group at Crown Jewel.
To add insult to injury, Reigns was pinned relatively clean by the new Tribal Chief. That won't sit well with The OTC, who will have a lot to say on SmackDown, especially after Sami Zayn accidentally kicked him in the face after the match in Saudi Arabia.
WWE ran an advertisement for this Friday's episode of SmackDown during RAW last night, hyping that "the stars are coming out." Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes were featured in it, following their contrasting fortunes at Crown Jewel.
The American Nightmare defeated Gunther to win the WWE Crown Jewel Championship, with his upcoming direction set to be revealed on SmackDown. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton might be in the mix.
Reigns was also advertised for the show. He will be there after Jey Uso invited Sami Zayn to SmackDown to sort things out with The OTC and Jimmy Uso. While it isn't known for sure, WWE's likely move is a 4-on-4 WarGames Match at Survivor Series.
Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Zayn, pending their full reconciliation, will take on Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa.
