WWE makes Survivor Series: WarGames changes

WWE is bringing WarGames back to the main roster. Survivor Series will once again host the double-cage concept this year, but newly released information has revealed changes for the highly-anticipated event. One of the biggest WWE Superstars has also weighed in and called on fans.

World Wrestling Entertainment will present its 38th annual Survivor Series PLE on Saturday, November 30, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. WWE brought WarGames back for NXT in 2017, but since 2022, the brutal match has been held at Survivor Series on the main roster - one for the men's division and one for the women.

WWE just revealed the new Survivor Series logo to promote tickets going on sale this Friday. The biggest takeaway is the removal of brand-specific colors and the return to a black-and-silver color scheme. RAW and SmackDown are no longer represented with red and blue. In previous years, yellow was used on Survivor Series logos to tease potential NXT involvement, which helped generate buzz.

Officials are also billing this year's November tradition as WWE Survivor Series: WarGames Vancouver. This is in line with other recent Premium Live Events with location-specific titles such as Elimination Chamber: Perth, Backlash France, Clash at the Castle: Scotland, and Bash in Berlin.

Kevin Owens tells story ahead of WWE Survivor Series

Kevin Owens and other Canadian Superstars are preparing to return home for the 38th annual Survivor Series PLE.

Survivor Series: WarGames Vancouver has been announced for Saturday, November 30, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 1 p.m. ET. The Ticketmaster pre-sale kicks off on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the "SURVIVOR" passcode.

Kevin Owens took to X to call on his countrymen to purchase Survivor Series tickets. He noted how everyone is excited for the event and joked about his viral friendship with former NFL coach Bruce Boudreau. KO then told a hilarious story about Sami Zayn and Rusev

"True story: One time we had a show in Vancouver and I was in a triple threat match against Sami Zayn and Rusev. I got a great reaction from the crowd when I came out and then Sami got a good one too but Rusev was a surprise and he hadn’t been seen on TV in months so when his music hit, he got a huge pop and it made me jealous," Kevin Owens said.

He continued:

"so when the ring announcer went to announce my name, I told him to call me 'the Face of Canada' instead of 'the Face of America' which was my nickname at the time and the crowd reaction to that announcement eclipsed both Sami and Rusev’s reaction and it made me feel so good but they were mad I think [confused face emoji] Anyway, buy tickets!" Kevin Owens wrote with the photos below.

Owens' story on Zayn and Rusev comes from the non-televised SmackDown live event in Vancouver on June 24, 2017. The match saw Owens retain the United States Championship.
