WWE may have dropped a massive hint regarding Oba Femi's future
Oba Femi is currently one of the fastest-rising WWE Superstars. The company may have dropped a massive hint regarding the former NXT North American Champion’s future.
The latest edition of NXT saw Adriana Rizzo of Tony D’Angelo’s family suffer a beatdown backstage. Meanwhile, Oba Femi defeated Luca Crusifino of The Don’s family in the ring and delivered a beatdown after the contest.
It was revealed backstage that Nikkita Lyons was behind the attack on Adriana Rizzo. During a backstage interview, Oba Femi approached Lyons with her fur coat and thanked her, implying he was behind the attack altogether.

The fans’ reaction during the segment signaled what everybody thinks is in store for the two superstars. The longest-reigning NXT North American Champion could pair up with Nikkita Lyons in the coming weeks. The alliance could help him regain his title from Tony D’Angelo.
Femi is known as The Ruler in NXT. Meanwhile, Nikkita is famous for being The Queen, and the two could look to rule the brand together with two top championships.
Oba Femi recently made a huge request from WWE
Triple H is working hard to take WWE worldwide so fans can watch their favorite superstars live. In a recent interview, Oba Femi made an unlikely request from the Chief Content Officer.
Oba Femi stated that he would love to see a PLE in Africa. He said it would be something different for the company, but many will welcome the move.
"I would love to see a PLE in Africa. I feel there is a market there that has been unexplored for years... I feel the entire continent is riding hard for WWE. Once we tap into that market it’s going to be unbelievable. It’s not going to be an easy thing to do because there is going to be a culture shock, the fear of the unknown, and all these other factors, but once we can weather that storm and reach that market, oh my God, I’m talking one of the hottest crowds the company has ever seen. They would go ballistic for their king [referring to himself], but they would go ballistic for everything for the product," the NXT star said.
With the recent wave of international WWE PLEs, The Ruler’s request could be granted sooner rather than later. He is quickly becoming a top name in WWE.
