WWE must take a drastic step regarding Bayley and the women's championship, feels veteran (Exclusive)

Bayley has been the WWE Women's Champion since WrestleMania XL, but Dutch Mantell thinks it's time to shake things up with the title. The former Damage CTRL leader is scheduled to face The Queen of the Ring Nia Jax for the title at SummerSlam. Jax has been impressive since returning to WWE, and there is every possibility Triple H could reward her with the title at the PLE.

Dutch Mantell commented on the Women's Title scene on the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk and felt that the promotion needed to book a title change soon.

Mantell, though, was confused about the potential creative direction as Tiffany Stratton is also in the mix with her Money in the Bank contract. Despite multiple possibilities, Mantell firmly believed it was time to take a major step in Bayley's reign by ending it:

"I'm not a betting man, but I think they need to put that; they need to switch that title." [From 01:06:00 to 01:09:06]

In addition to WWE advancing Bayley and Nia Jax's feud, SmackDown also featured a segment with Grayson Waller and Austin Theory, who are seemingly on the verge of breaking up.

The Theory got punched in the face by champion boxer Terence Crawford, and Dutch Mantell briefly commented on the angle involving A-Town Down Under. The former WWE manager urged fans to be patient and expected the eventual breakup to be worth the build:

"They are telling a story. And now everybody can see it coming and when it comes, they will go, 'Well, they did it the good way.' They are not overdoing it, but they are doing it just enough." [From 55:55 to 56:07]

WWE is telling several stories leading up to SummerSlam, and some or all of them, including Theory and Waller's alliance, could have a logical payoff.
