WWE name sends fans empowering message reflecting on life's hardships after nearly a decade in company
A WWE SmackDown personality has shared a deeply personal message with fans about her self-empowerment journey. She also reflected on her run in the global juggernaut.
The name in question is Jessika Carr. She joined WWE in 2017 as a referee and quickly gained credibility with her performances. Carr made history at Crown Jewel 2021 by becoming the first woman to officiate a match in Saudi Arabia and the first female to referee a Hell in a Cell bout.
Jessika Carr recently took to her Instagram account to share a motivational message about self-acceptance. The WWE official said she was proud of her achievements inside the ring and in her personal life. Carr also detailed her past struggles and how she overcame them.
"An empowered woman, wanting to inspire, motivate and impact anyone she can. I’m proud each day of who I am and what I have achieved. I’m always in a place of wanted to grow, improve and learn. But trust me when I say this wasn’t always the case. I lived in a place of being shameful of my body. Of being critical of my flaws. Of being at war with myself mentally and physically. I’m so glad to be my best self today. Whether that’s in between the ropes in a wrestling ring, what I’ve accomplished in my own health and fitness or what I am able to do with my coaching. I want to be my best self and create a lasting impact. I have so much gratitude, and always working to be ready for that next big moment. 📸 @ricklandyoung Glam: @bfabulous1," she wrote.
