WWE name thinks AJ Styles is planning to get inducted to a Hall of Fame despite openly refusing it (Exclusive)
AJ Styles recently refused a Hall of Fame induction, prompting WWE fans to question his reasons. A veteran has also commented on the matter.
The Phenomenal One has had an illustrious career in the pro-wrestling business so far, which seems all but destined to have a Hall of Fame induction in his current company down the line. TNA recently also offered an induction, which AJ refused. According to veteran Dutch Mantel, this may not mean that AJ Styles will never be joining the TNA Hall of Fame.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's SmackTalk, Dutch heaped praise on AJ Styles and stated:
"I have a lot of respect for AJ. He definitely belongs in several Hall of Fames. Now he may take TNA after he takes the WWE Hall of Fame. He may take that, and he may not. But he is working for the number one wrestling company in the universe." [9:25 onwards]
The WWE veteran thinks AJ Styles may still carry a grudge against TNA
According to Dutch Mantell, the Phenomenal One is quite justified in his refusal of the TNA induction.
Speaking on the same episode of Sportskeeda's SmackTalk, Dutch explained that AJ had done a lot for TNa during his time in the company. He stated:
"I think he's a little pi**ed off at TNA you know, they tried to treat him just a little bit badly when he left. And I think they kinda... You know you can have your feelings hurt. After all he did for TNA and now they're trying to him this that, well he's not gonna... And I don't think he even wants to stain his WWE induction, which he will be inducted." [4:36 onwards]
For now, fans will have to stay tuned to see what is next for AJ Styles down the line.
