WWE official addresses Chad Gable being "shot in the head" while insulting the fans

Chad Gable has had the worst few weeks in WWE lately. Many fans believed that he was shot in the head when RAW went off the air this week. However, the General Manager of the red brand, Adam Pearce, addressed the situation while roasting the fans about their belief.

The leader of the Alpha Academy hasn't been able to get his faction to perform as a unit to help him achieve his goal of becoming the Intercontinental Champion. Most recently, he failed to win the coveted title from Sami Zayn at Clash at the Castle: Scotland Premium Live Event last Saturday in Glasgow.

The latest edition of RAW ended with the arrival of the sinister Wyatt Sicks after Jey Uso won his main event match to qualify for the Men's MITB Ladder Match. The segment saw several persons laid out backstage while introducing the WWE Universe to the members of the new faction.

The camera focused on Chad Gable specifically, who had a head wound, leading many fans to believe that he was shot in the head. Adam Pearce took to X (formerly Twitter ) and addressed the situation while putting over the former Tag Team Champion.

"@WWEGable being medically cleared after last Monday is a testament to his tenacity and fortitude, despite the many, MANY dopes illogically saying he was 'shot in the head'. #dumb," Pearce tweeted.

Who will Chad Gable face on WWE RAW?

Chad Gable will be back in action on the red brand next week. It seems that Gable has recovered from the devastating attack at the hands of the Wyatt Sicks to try and place himself in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the namesake premium live event in July.

The 38-year-old superstar will take part in a Triple Threat Match that will involve Braun Strowman and Bronson Reed. If Gable beats the two gigantic stars, he stands a chance to possibly follow in Otis' footsteps and win the MITB briefcase that will assure him a title shot at a time of his choosing for a whole year.

So far, Jey Uso from RAW and Carmello Hayes, and Andrade from SmackDown have qualified for the Men's MITB Ladder Match. In the coming weeks, the WWE Universe will be introduced to the remaining contenders for the coveted prize
