WWE official hilariously denies Chelsea Green's request
A WWE official hilariously denied a major request from Chelsea Green today on social media. Green defeated Michin this past Friday night in a singles match on SmackDown.
Giulia recently confronted NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez following her victory over Jaida Parker at No Mercy. The 30-year-old will make her in-ring debut against Chelsea Green on the September 10 edition of WWE NXT.
Green took to social media today to complain about being booked in the match and noted that she is very busy on Tuesday nights. She asked NXT General Manager Ava to take care of it, as seen in her post below.
"WHAT?? I did NOT agree to this!!!!! Someone has made a big mistake and I’m very busy on Tuesdays. I can’t make it!!! @avawwe_plz rectify this," she wrote.
The NXT General Manager hilariously responded to Green's request by simply telling her no with a heart emoji.
Green is a former Women's Tag Team Champion but has never held a singles title during her time in WWE.
Chelsea Green wants popular star to return to WWE
Chelsea Green recently shared that she would like to see her husband, Matt Cardona (formerly known as Zack Ryder), return to the company someday.
Cardona is a former Intercontinental Champion who spent over a decade with the promotion. His time at the company came to an end in 2020, but the Indy God has made a name for himself on the independent wrestling scene.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Emily Mae earlier this year, Green stated that she would love for her husband to return to the company. She added that she would compete in mixed tag team matches with her husband as well.
"I don't know if I would work with him, but let's put a pin in that one, I am not sure. But I would obviously love to see him back. I mean ideally I would love to see him and Steph [De Lander] back together to do the GCW shtick. But you know, I would take him as my mix tag partner if I needed to." [From 0:37 onwards]

Chelsea Green came close to winning the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this year but was shoved off the ladder by SmackDown star Tiffany Stratton at the last moment. It will be interesting to see if Green can defeat Giulia in her debut match this Tuesday on NXT.
