WWE official reacts to being assaulted by Damian Priest
A WWE official has shared his reaction to being struck by World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest over the weekend. The Judgment Day member was in action in the main event of WWE Clash at the Castle this past Saturday night in Glasgow, Scotland.
Damian Priest defended his title against Drew McIntyre in the main event of the premium live event over the weekend. During the action, The Archer of Infamy accidentally knocked referee Eddie Orengo off the ring apron and he went flying into the barricade outside the ring. CM Punk rushed to the ring in a referee shirt but refused to count to three after Drew McIntyre connected with a Claymore.
Orengo took to his Instagram today to react to getting assaulted by Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle. He noted that it was quite the trip and shared a couple of images of himself crashing into the barricade in his post below.
"Quite the trip to Scotland 🥴 #WWEClash #DamianPriest #DrewMcIntyre #CMPunk," he wrote.
Seth Rollins made a surprise return last night on WWE RAW and was interrupted by Damian Priest. It was later announced that Priest will defend his title against Rollins next month at Money in the Bank. Gunther has already secured a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam by winning the King of the Ring tournament last month.
Damian Priest is honored to be compared to WWE legend
WWE RAW star Damian Priest recently opened up on how he felt about being compared to Razor Ramon (Scott Hall).
Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter in an exclusive interview earlier this year, Priest said he was honored to be compared to Ramon in any capacity. He noted that the legend was one of his biggest inspirations and he was a fan of him growing up.
"Scott Hall was clearly one of my biggest inspirations. Growing up, I was a big fan of the Razor Ramon personality. So to me, being compared to him, in any way, shape, or form is an honor."
Priest then added that he received permission from Ramon to use the Razor's Edge as a part of his moveset.
"I use the Razor's Edge, which I was lucky enough to ask him permission to use and he blessed me with it, yeah." [From 0:50 onwards]

Seth Rollins has not competed in a match since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania XL. However, Damian Priest was able to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on The Scottish Warrior five minutes after he won the title due to CM Punk's attack at The Show of Shows.
