WWE officially announces a Fatal 4-Way championship match for upcoming major event

It has recently been announced that a Fatal Four-Way Match will take place at an upcoming event for the NXT Championship. Trick Williams will defend his coveted title against three other stars at NXT Heatwave 2024.

Last week, Je'Von Evans won the 25-man Battle Royal to become the number-one contender for the coveted NXT Championship. However, Ethan Page was not eliminated from the match, as Oro Mensah attacked him during the bout and sent him through the ropes. In the main event of the show last week, Page defeated Je'Von Evans and got his first win in WWE.

Another superstar who wants to challenge for the NXT Championship is Shawn Spears. On WWE NXT this week, Ethan Page was involved in an in-ring segment where he called out General Manager Ava, as he felt that he was owed a title opportunity since he beat Evans last week and was not eliminated from the 25-man Battle Royal.

Spears came out and stated that he beat the teenage kid two weeks ago before All Ego did. Trick Williams showed up, and both heel stars beat him up in the ring. However, Je'Von Evans came out to the ring and made the save. In the main event of the show, Spears beat Williams via pinfall.

Ava then announced in her office after the match that the NXT Championship would be on the line in a Fatal Four-Way Match involving Trick, Evans, Page, and Spears at NXT Heatwave 2024.
