WWE officially bringing back huge stipulation after 7 years for Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan at Bad Blood 2024

For the first time in a little over seven years, WWE will hold a huge stipulation match. Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan at Bad Blood 2024 will be the match with that stipulation.

This week on RAW, Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day opened the show, with Morgan bragging about how she will beat Ripley again on October 5.

Rhea Ripley came out without crutches with less than two weeks to go for Bad Blood. She announced that not only was she medically cleared, but Dominik Mysterio, the biggest reason Liv has remained Women's World Champion, won't be able to interfere in the bout like he normally would.

Rhea Ripley revealed that Adam Pearce decided that the Women's World Championship match at Bad Blood would have a specific stipulation, where Dominik would be trapped above the ring in a suspended shark cage.

This will be the first time fans will see this stipulation since SummerSlam 2017. On that occasion, Big Cass, now known as Big Bill in AEW, faced Big Show with Enzo Amore suspended above the ring in a shark cage. That era of WWE had multiple shark cage matches in a relatively short time.

WWE stopped using the stipulation, and many people had called for it to return for this feud. It looks like WWE has listened.

The only question is how Liv Morgan could retain her title at Bad Blood 2024.
