WWE officially confirms beloved name is leaving during RAW; bids farewell on show and says what's next

WWE RAW saw a huge confirmation by the company that a beloved name is leaving. This came after the story broke earlier in the night.

A few hours before RAW, Samantha Irvin announced that she was leaving the company. While fans were worried about the reason for her departure, the same has now been reported.

However, there was some worry about whether this was official and how soon it would be happening. It didn't take too long before things were confirmed almost as soon as RAW started.

Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett confirmed that Samantha Irvin was done with WWE and would be leaving her duties immediately. Although she was not present on the show, they bid her farewell anyway and wished her luck. They went on to announce that Lilian Garcia would be stepping up for the moment to fill in her position.

With the announcement, it appears that Garcia will be the ring announcer for RAW going forward. Reports have stated that she will be the full-time replacement for Irvin.

It remains to be seen if that is the case, as it has not been confirmed on the show yet. Triple H has also not addressed the matter.
