WWE omits major RAW star from upcoming title match
A popular WWE Superstar has seemingly been left out of a major title match during tomorrow night's episode of RAW. This week's edition of the red brand will air live from Columbus, Ohio.
Rhea Ripley successfully defended her Women's World Championship against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania XL. Unfortunately, it would be Ripley's last title defense during her 380-day reign as suffered an injury on the following episode of RAW which forced her to vacate the title last week on the company's flagship show. There will be a Battle Royal tomorrow night to determine the next Women's World Champion. However, one female WWE RAW star appears to not be involved in the match.
The promotion aired the following advertisement on last week's episode of RAW and several stars were shown as potential participants in the match. There has not been an official graphic posted on the company's website, but it appears that Nikki Cross will not be competing in the Battle Royal tomorrow night.
The advertisement also shows Xia Li but the veteran will not be in action on RAW as she was released last Friday.
WWE star Natalya also shared a fan-made graphic on her Instagram story that featured all of the active women on the RAW roster besides Nikki Cross. The former champion has not wrestled in a match since the number one contendership Battle Royal ahead of Survivor Series 2023.
WWE legend not interested in the Battle Royal on RAW
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell is not excited about the Battle Royal tomorrow night on RAW to determine the next Women's World Champion.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Dutch Mantell has shared his thoughts about the upcoming Battle Royal. The veteran would have preferred a storyline culminating at a premium live event rather than a gimmick match on RAW.
"What happened to the simple matches? Simple wins. Take it to the pay-per-view, and then work your angle. I think they are trying; what they have done so far is very good, excellent. But I think when you get in that Gimmickville land, kind of just stay there. The more gimmicks you've got, the more space you've got to screw it up. The Women's Battle Royal, like the four-way we had tonight, it doesn't excite me, because they have done it so many times," he said. [From 44:13 - 44:54]

Some fans are hoping to see Liv Morgan become the new Women's World Champion tomorrow night. Only time will tell which superstar wins the Battle Royal on WWE RAW.
