WWE personality makes a cheeky reference to Cody Rhodes

A WWE personality just made a major yet cheeky reference to Cody Rhodes. She used one of his most used phrases.

Cathy Kelley has been with the WWE for quite a while now. She is mostly involved in conducting backstage interviews with many top WWE stars. She is one of the most beloved non-wrestling personalities in the company and enjoys a solid fanbase.

Kelley is known for her friendship with Rhea Ripley. She has posted so many photos of them goofing around on social media. Hence, a fan questioned why her banner image on X wasn't a picture of her with Mami.

Cathy replied cheekily that she was waiting to finish her story. This was in reference to a phrase Cody Rhodes used after he returned to the WWE. It was also heavily used in his WrestleMania 39 and 40 angles against Roman Reigns.

"once they let me finish my story #yeet," Kelley wrote.

Cody Rhodes gave his honest opinion on The Rock

Cody Rhodes and The Rock were heavily involved in a feud against each other during WrestleMania 40. They even competed in a tag match on Night One, where The Great One beat The American Nightmare in a tag team match.

Following WrestleMania 40, both teased a potential feud in the future. Recently, Cody spoke to Diamond Dallas Page on DDP Yoga and said that he and The Rock aren't on the best terms, but he can see the love the Final Boss has for this business.

"I wish [The] Rock and I had a better relationship than we do. Destiny pitted us against one another, I suppose. However, I can fully from one moment of eye contact with him understand that he's still the biggest fan of what we do (...) Even though we don't like one another, there are very few people you meet you can tell they're into this, this is it, they love it. [DDP: He loves it the way you love it, he loves it the way I've always loved it] Yeah," Rhodes said.

It will be interesting to see when Cody Rhodes and The Rock settle their differences in the ring.
