WWE personality reflects on his career following Saturday Night's Main Event, hopes over two-decade run "never ends"
WWE Saturday Night's Main Event was headlined by Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens for the top prize of World Wrestling Entertainment. The show as a whole was retro, naturally, as it is a classic.
The American Nightmare was seen sporting the Winged Eagle WWE Championship inside Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, New York, nearly 40 years after the first edition at the same venue. The main event was officiated by Charles Robinson, a veteran of the business who signed with the Stamford-based promotion in 2001. Prior to that, he worked for WCW.
Taking to Instagram, Charles Robinson reflected on working the main event of Saturday Night's Main Event after all this time. He expressed a desire to continue till the end of time:
"I hope this fantastic ride never ends. It’s so much fun! @wwe and the fans are the best! #wrestling #memories," Robinson wrote on Instagram.

World Wrestling Entertainment has revived Saturday Night's Main Event, with another show scheduled already. The next edition will emanate from Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas, on January 25, 2025, less than a week away from Royal Rumble.
WWE Saturday Night's Main Event was an eventful night; Drew McIntyre has begun a hunt for blood
Perhaps something that may have gone under the radar amid the commotion surrounding Cody Rhodes being stretchered out of the arena is Drew McIntyre's victory over Sami Zayn.
Drew McIntyre appears to have begun a hunt for blood, as he has outright spoken about going after the original Bloodline. Clash at the Castle 2022 featured a title match between the Scot and Roman Reigns, which headlined the show. It ended with Reigns walking away with the win, breaking the hearts of the live crowd who were rooting for their home country hero.
The main event featured Solo Sikoa's WWE main roster debut. Sikoa cost McIntyre the match. As a result, The Scottish Warrior was seemingly cursed at the event. He again lost a high-profile main event match at this year's edition.
Henceforth, Drew McIntyre is out for blood. He wants to get back at the original Bloodline. At Saturday Night's Main Event, he drew first blood by defeating Sami Zayn in the opening contest.
As seen in the Instagram clip above, McIntyre has hinted that he is after all of the original members, claiming that there are four more to go. While he may have only been referring to The Wiseman, Paul Heyman, it is believed that Solo Sikoa is the fourth man.
