WWE personality teases reunion with Chelsea Green after over four years

Chelsea Green became a top name in WWE after her performance at Money in the Bank in Toronto. Meanwhile, Green's former manager, Robert Stone, spoke highly of the star and teased a reunion with her after over four years.

In May 2020, Chelsea Green fired Robert Stone on WWE NXT and effectively ended her alliance with him under 'Robert Stone Brand!' Unfortunately, Green was moved to the main roster and wasn't utilized well on the brand. Following an injury, the company released her in April 2021.

Meanwhile, Robert Stone has donned different hats for the developmental brand and is working alongside NXT General Manager, Ava. In an interview with WWE Deutschland, the 40-year-old personality spoke highly of Chelsea Green and teased a reunion with her best friend.

"I think hands down, the answer to that is Chelsea Green. I mean, me and her started in NXT around the same time; I knew her previously. We're very similar; our mindsets are very similar. We were a great collaboration, and I think when we started, we were so hot, like Chelsea was in the Royal Rumble and I was on with her. It was short-lived. We've reconciled, and we are friends again. You know, we still text and DM here and there, and we're still friends. And hey, you never know what can happen in the future, right? We're BFFs, though," Stone said. (From 21:08 to 21:51)

Chelsea Green reportedly received praise after WWE Money in the Bank 2024

Last year, Chelsea Green was a surprise re-hire under Triple H's new regime. The 33-year-old star has been working in the tag team division alongside different superstars before and after capturing the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

The star's partnership with Piper Niven cemented her run in the Stamford-based promotion. The SmackDown Superstar recently featured in the Women's MITB Ladder Match at the titular Premium Live Event.

Unfortunately, she failed to become Ms. MITB 2024. However, Green walked out as a star after a horrific table spot in the end. According to Fightful Select, many backstage praised Chelsea Green for all her work leading up to the event and her performance in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

It'll be interesting to see what's next for Chelsea Green.
