WWE planning to make exciting new addition - Reports

WWE made some changes to its production following the departure of Kevin Dunn at the end of 2023. The company hired Lee Fitting to take over Dunn's position and there's been plenty of improvements in production. A recent report revealed that there might be an exciting addition coming soon.

Fitting worked in ESPN for years and had a good reputation before joining WWE. He has done wonders on how the product has been presented on television, with Dunn's shaky camera work completely gone. There have been continuous shots at times plus unique angles that give viewers a different perspective.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, WWE might possibly bring the referee cam back soon and use it in NXT. The ref cam was previously used in WCW in the early 1990s but it was heavily slammed by fans since the referees had to wear a helmet with a camera attached to it.

Fast forward to the present time, the advancement in camera technology has increased significantly and referee cams are not new to the sports world. It has been used by MLB, NFL and NHL, as well as field hockey. It was also recently tested in the English Premier League.

According to Cultaholic, the person responsible for pitching the idea of bringing back the referee cam is currently unknown.
